Education Qualification:

Candidates must have graduated from an accredited university or institute with a 12th grade diploma.
The candidate has to have a current LMV driver’s license. (You cannot use a learner license.)

Age Limit (as on 01-July-2025)

The minimum age requirement is 18 years old, while the maximum age is 25 years old.

Delhi Police ConstableSelection Process

Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Endurance Test (PET), Computer Based Examination (CBT), and Detailed Medical Examination (DME).

Syllabus and Pattern of CBT:

One objective-style paper with 80 questions worth two marks each will make up the computer-based test. It will be composed as follows:

The computer-based examination question paper.
The paper will have one hundred questions.
The written exam will take 90 minutes, or 01:30 hours, to complete.
Both Hindi and English will be used in the question paper.
The exam will be at the matriculation level.
Each incorrect response will result in a 0.25 mark deduction.

The syllabus for the Computer Based Examination will be as follows:

General Knowledge/ Current Affairs:The purpose of the questions in this section is to assess the candidate’s broad awareness of current events and general knowledge. As can be anticipated of any educated individual, the questions will also be created to assess knowledge of current affairs as well as topics related to daily observations and experiences in their scientific aspect. In addition, there will be questions on India and its neighbors, particularly in the areas of sports, history, culture, geography, the Indian economy, general etiquette, the Indian Constitution, scientific research, etc. Because of the nature of these questions, no particular discipline study will be necessary.

Reasoning:Mostly nonverbal questions will be used to assess analytical skills and the capacity to notice and identify patterns. Questions about analogies, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, discrimination, observations, relationship concepts, arithmetic reasons and figural classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, and other topics may be included in this section.

Numerical Ability:Number system problems, whole number computation, decimals, fractions, and the relationship between numbers, as well as basic mathematical operations, percentages, ratios and proportions, averages, interest, profit and loss, discount, mensuration, time and distance, ratio and time, and time and work, will all be covered in this section.

Computer Fundamentals, MS Excel, MS Word, Communication, Internet, WWW and Web Browsers etc:

Word processing fundamentals, document opening and closing, text creation, formatting, and presentation tools are all included. Microsoft Excel (Spread Sheet Components, Cell Editing, Functions, and Formulas), Communication (Email Fundamentals, Email Sending and Receiving, and Related Functions). Web browsers, the WWW, and the Internet (including web services, URLs, HTTP, FTP, blogs, websites, search engines, chat, video conferencing, and e-banking)

Pay scale:

Delhi Police Sub-Inspector (Executive): Male or female According to Delhi Police, the position is designated as Group “C” (Non-Gazetted) and has a pay range of Leve-6 (Rs. 35,400-1,12,400/-).
