APPSC FBO ABO Apply Online 2025

On the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission’s (APPSC) official website, www.psc.ap.gov.in, the application link for APPSC FBO ABO Recruitment 2025 is now operational. Those who are interested in applying for the position and who satisfy the necessary requirements must do so by the extended deadline of August 10, 2025, at 11:59 p.m.

APPSC FBO ABO Application Fee 2025

Applicants must pay an application processing cost of Rs. 250 and an examination fee of Rs. 80. Only Rs. 250 is required of candidates who are SC, ST, BC, and ex-servicemen, young people without jobs, and families who have a home supply white card from the A.P. government’s Civil Supplies Department.

Note: There will be a fee of Rs. 100 for each adjustment. However, name, fee, and age relaxation modifications are not permitted.

How to Apply for  Forest Officer Recruitment 2025?

Step 1: OTPR Application- Candidates applying for the time for APPSC Exams have to first fill out the OTPR application carefully to obtain an OTPR ID. While filling the OTPR, the candidate has to ensure that the particulars are filled correctly.

Step 2: Login- You will need your User Name (OTPR ID) and the Password to log in to the commission’s website. Then click on the fill application button against the notification (06/2025).

Step 3: Enter your Details: Now, candidates have to enter their details for education qualification, preferred exam centre, and other personal details. Then click on “Save & Submit”.

Step 4: Fee Payment: The next step is to pay the required application fee (as per your category) through online mode only. In any case, if there is any error in the payment process, then start the fresh payment process as mentioned in step 2.

Step 5: Submit Applications: Save and submit your duly filled application forms before due date.

APPSC FBO ABO Selection Process 2025

The Forest Beat Officer (FBO) and Assistant Beat Officer (ABO) selection procedure is divided into four phases by the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC).

Multiple-choice questions make up the screening test, which is an offline written exam used for qualification.
Principal Written Test: General Studies & Mental Ability, General Science & General Mathematics, and Essay Writing are the three components of the second level, which is an online computer-based test.
The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and the Physical Measurements Test (PMT): Candidates will be contacted for a physical test if they pass the main exam.
Verification of Documents: Candidates must submit all of their original documentation for verification after passing the physical exam.

APPSC FBO ABO Exam Pattern 2025

There will be two sections to the screening test: Part A will include general studies and mental capacity, while Part B will cover general science and mathematics.

All of the questions are objective multiple-choice.
There are 75 questions in each section.
Every question has one mark.
A mark of ⅓ will be subtracted for a failed attempt.

Principal Analysis:

The first paper is qualifying in nature and is an essay writing test.
The questions in the second and third papers are based on objectivity.
Paper 1 is worth fifty points.
Each of Papers 2 and 3 is worth 100 points.
⅓ of the marks will be subtracted for each incorrect response.

Physical Test: This test includes checking your height and chest measurements, and a walking test.
